PayPal, ePay and Nets

Online payment (PayPal, ePay, Nets)

PayPal

Domainbox WebShop has built-in support for PayPal with no extra charge. The only thing required is a free PayPal Business account.

This enables your customers to pay with a wide variety of the most popular international credit cards - VISA, Mastercard, American Express etc.

The shop additionally offers payment plugins for Moneybookers and Authorize.net free of charge, both of which allow the use of international credit cards as well.

ePay

Domainbox WebShop comes with a plugin to support debit and credit card payment through Danish payment gateway provider ePay.

This means that you can receive direct payments from the customer without the assistance of a third-party such as PayPal.

If you want customers to be able to use Dankort or eDankort, ePay is required as well. In addition to your ePay subscription, you will need to apply for a Merchant Agreement as well with a provider such as Nets (formerly PBS).

We offer three ePay subscription packages at these monthly rates (including VAT):

Light: Dankort, VISA/Dankort and eDankort supported.
DKK 123,75 (99,-)

Pro: In addition to Light: VISA, Mastercard, Visa Electron, Maestro, JCB Cards, American Express and Diners Club supported.
DKK 248,75 (199,-)

Business: In addition to Light and Pro: Subscription services, Web API and multiple Acquirers supported.
DKK 373,75
(299,-)

Note:
The subscription to ePay will be charged in addition to your payment for the shop (Mini, Medi or Maxi).

Merchant agreement (Nets, Swedbank, Euroline)
Along with the ePay subscription, which handles the technical aspects of your online payments, you also need a merchant agreement with an Acquirer such as Nets (formerly PBS), Swedbank or Euroline.

For Danish debit and credit cards, Nets is the sole Acquirer. You need separate agreements for Danish and international credit cards. Diners Clup International requires its own individual agreement as well - with Diners Club itself - to be included with the other international credit cards.

Swedbank and Euroline can also be used as an Acquirer for international cards. It's entirely possible to use Nets for Danish debit and credit cards and another Acquirer for international cards.

ePay offers a guide for submitting an application as well as pricing for each of the three Acquirers that they cooperate with.

The current rates listed by Nets:

Danish credit and debit cards:
Sign-up fee: DKK 250
Yearly subscription fee: DKK 1,000

For international credit cards:
Sign-up fee: DKK 3,500,-
Yearly subscription fee: DKK 1,000,-
