1) Products and services
1 a.
Domainbox provides domain names, web hosting, online disk, online backup and other related hosted products to both businesses and individuals.
1 b.
These conditions are valid for all products and services provided by Domainbox ApS.
2) Subscription to web hosting, mail hotels, server hosting, etc.
2 a.
The Customer is personally responsible for the legality of the material on Domainbox's servers. There will not be allowed any presence of illegal, offensive or unethical material on our web servers.
2 b.
Domainbox reserves the exclusive right to define whether the material is of an unacceptable nature - Domainbox can terminate a subscription immediately, in such cases is Domainbox not liable towards the customer in any way.
No subscription must be used for sending spam - in this case it will be closed immediately and the customer to be held liable for any costs that may be caused by Domainbox. Domainbox reserves the right to define the customer's e-mail in the nature of being spam.
At Domainbox traffic is generally free, which means that a feeis paid for the amount of data to and from the customer's hosted product. However, assuming a normal flow of traffic which will not disrupt traffic for other customers.
2 c.
Domainbox strives to ensure access to and from the customer's subscription, 24 hours a day. However, stoppages of short duration occur as a result of, inter alia, upgrading or maintenance of our IT systems.
2 d.
Upon termination of the subscription for Online Backup and Online Disk or other subscriptions that require installation of client components, the customer is required to uninstall the supplied client software on the machines it is installed on.
2 e.
It is the customer's responsibility to configure and ensure that backup jobs include the files / folders they want to backup. It is also the customers’ responsibility to store passwords themselves.
2 f.
Customers who have their own servers located at Domainbox, including leased servers and virtual servers, are responsible for the operation themselves, unless otherwise agreed with Domainbox. The customer is responsible for backup and security updates, etc. unless agreement exist with Domainbox.
2 g.
Domainbox bill subscriptions prior to the agreed period (6, 12, 18 or 24 months at a time).
Customer's termination of subscriptions for individuals:
The consumer may cancel the contract with 1 month's notice to the end of a month when at least 5 months have passed since the agreement was made. If the agreement is automatically renewed for another, similar period, the consumer may cancel the contract with 1 month notice to end a month. In this case, the customer can obtain a refund for the remaining of a prepaid subscription period.
Customer's termination of subscriptions for businesses:
Subscriptions can’t be cancelled within a current subscription period, unless terminated prior to commencement of the next period, at least one month before the expiry of the current period.All subscriptions are automatically renewed for a further similar period unless Domainbox has received a valid notice from the customer.
Any termination of a subscription is made to Domainbox, from our customer control panel. Non-payment is not considered to be a termination of a subscription.
Domainbox may cancel an ongoing subscription, without the customer necessarily have violated these terms and conditions. In this case Domainbox reimburse the remainder of the prepaid subscription to the customer.
3) Domain Names
3 a.
All domain names are created on Domainboxs name servers, unless otherwise agreed.
All domains are created on a first come first served principle. Domainbox can under no circumstances be held liable if an ordered domain cannot be created because it already occupied by a third party. Domainbox may also not be liable for any errors on ordered domain names, as in spelling, in which case the registration fee is not refunded.
Domainbox initiates the registration process as soon as possible and within 1 working day after payment is received.
As a customer you are required within 5 days after the order to verify that the registration of the domain name has happened - this can be done by using the domain tester at www.domainbox.dk. If the ordered domain is still available the customer should contact Domainbox ApS.
3 b.
Domainbox is not responsible for any errors made by our domain tester.
3 c.
Payments regarding faulty ordered domain names are not refunded.
3 d.
Domainbox is not responsible for any violation of any third parties concerning registered domain names.
3 e.
a. When registering Danish .dk domain names a period fee to DK-Hostmaster is paid. When registering a new domain via Domainbox is the first time charge for DK-Hostmaster included in the price. The customer will, when the first period is up, receive an invoice on the next period fee directly from DK-Hostmaster. Lack of timely payment of this fee may result in the domain deleted from DK-Hostmaster.

b. For all other domain names such as .com, .net, .org, .as, etc., please look for the particular domain rules. For all other domain types than .dk domains, the subscription period is billed by Domainbox.
4) Guidance and consultancy
4 a.
If a customer uses Domainbox as a partner for the development of specific software, the customer achieves a perpetual non-exclusive right to use the software developed by Domainbox. It is not allowed, without the acceptance from Domainbox, to copy or resell the developed code.
If the customer makes changes to the code in the developed software, Domainboxs commitments regarding the developed software stops.
5) Payment Terms
5 a.
Lack of timely payment entails sending reminders and calculation of interest. For every reminder a fee of DKK 50.00 is imposed. If payment is not done after 2nd reminder, the claim will be forwarded to the court recovery. If payment is not received 3 months after timely payment deadline, customer data will be erased.
6) General
6 a.
Domainbox provides products and services specifically adapted to our customers. It is accepted that Domainbox commences deployment and registration process as soon as payment is received and recorded, thus the customer will not have a general withdrawal right.
6 b.
All customers of Domainbox is obliged to keep Domainbox informed about their current residence.
6 c.
Domainbox is not responsible for loss of profits, lost data and their restoration, damage caused by computer viruses, loss of goodwill, consequential damages and indirect losses. Domainboxs liability is in any case limited to the last payment of the customer.. The same conditions apply to force majeure, ie. fire, war, lockout, natural disasters etc. This is valid for all products and services supplied by Domainbox ApS.
6 d.
Domainbox reserves the right to change the conditions, specifications and prices. Changes will be published on Domainboxs website, and will take effect upon its publication, or for existing customers from next coming subscription period.
In case of disputes on the basis of present conditions, the court in Viborg, Denmark would be handling the dispute.
